Considered the most beautiful and highest waterfalls in Morocco, the Ouzoud Waterfalls – which means “waterfall of the olive trees” in Berber – are 110-meter-high waterfalls on the Ouzoud River, cascading over three tiers in a red sandstone valley amid lush vegetation.

It’s a preserved natural site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, both very touristy and wild, where you can swim, camp, stroll, hike, and marvel at the wonders of nature among donkeys, olive trees, almond trees, fig trees, and a highlight of the site: a community of free-living Barbary macaques.
